It was incredibly satisfying touring a stranger’s home recently when I saw my novel on their bookshelf. That was a wonderful moment! While I didn’t identify myself, the experience brought me incredible personal joy!

The premier Valentine’s Day ad in the Birmingham UK newspaper was exciting enough, and we used the book proceeds for the months of January & February to support a school building effort in Zambia. I was thrilled with the recent commentary on the novel 33 Bits from Writer’s Digest who wrote, “The cover was beautiful. This is definitely a book I’d pick up at a bookstore. The device of using a charm bracelet to link the story is a good one. I liked the way the author tied the book in with the mysterious woman who really did lose a bracelet.  The writing flows well and the story is a page turner.”

We are set to release 10 books from international airports through the Bookcrossing program.   33 Bits  will be tracked by its BCID number assigned at Bookcrossing.com. I’m very curious where the books will travel and if we can snatch more prospects who may know something about this bracelet.

A book was donated to a soldier in Qatar who read 33 Bits and gave it to a British soldier who was from Birmingham (fortuitous) and it’s now being shipped to his family in England. Are we getting closer to locating the real Charming Etta? We think so!!!
